The speed advertised on our servers is the speed of the network port. Traffic is not billed by volume: this policy explains how we guarantee a quality connection to all our customers.
The principle
You use your server’s bandwidth freely, with no monthly quota and no overage fees. In return, usage must remain reasonable: it must not degrade the shared network or the quality of service of other customers.
What is covered
- Hosting websites, applications, APIs and databases.
- Game servers, voice over IP and video conferencing.
- Backups, synchronisation and occasional file transfers, even large ones.
- Traffic peaks related to your activity (launch, campaign, event).
What is not allowed
- Continuous saturation of the port, day and night, over a long period, unrelated to normal use.
- Attacks, network scanning, sending spam and any illegal activity.
- Reselling bandwidth on its own, or using it as a transit service for third parties.
How we step in
If excessive usage affects our network, we first contact you to understand your needs and suggest a suitable solution. A temporary speed limit is only applied as a last resort, or immediately in the event of malicious activity.
