Recipients and processors
The data is intended for SwizCloud and the processors needed for its services: payment providers, domain name registrars and registries, Cloudflare (website hosting and anti-bot protection), Crisp (website chat) and, if you accept them, Meta Platforms Ireland (advertising) and Osiolytics, part of the Osiom group (audience measurement, data hosted in France).
It is never sold or transferred for commercial purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some processing involves a transfer outside the European Union, in particular to Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which participates in the Data Privacy Framework, to Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States), which also participates, if you accept the Meta pixel, and to the registries of the extensions concerned when a domain name is registered. These transfers are governed by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
- Billing data: 10 years (legal obligation).
- Client account data: for the duration of the contract, then 3 years after it ends.
- Requests sent by non-customers: 3 years after the last exchange.
- Technical logs: 12 months at most, unless a specific legal obligation applies.
Cookies and trackers
Without your consent, the website only uses the trackers it needs to work:
- the browser’s local storage, to remember the chosen display currency and your cookie choice;
- the Crisp chat, which sets the trackers needed for the conversation;
- Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, to tell visitors apart from bots.
With your consent, given in the banner shown on your first visit, it also uses:
- the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland), to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram;
- Osiolytics (Osiom group, hosted in France), to measure the website’s audience.
Your choice, consent or refusal, is kept for 6 months. You can change it at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page; declining deletes the Meta cookies.
The client area uses session cookies that are essential for logging in.
Security
SwizCloud implements appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption, firewalls, restricted access) to protect data. As no system is completely secure, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@swizcloud.fr or to OSIOM AGENCY SAS, 58 rue de Monceau, CS 48756, 75380 Paris Cedex 08, France. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
